Providence

This is a very different artwork of mine, as i said before, i'm trying to practice new styles, this one is predicted to start a new series in next works. I was very inspired by Carlos-Quevedo and streetX222.

Well, Providence could be understood as a superior power, the actions of God for example, his presence, his sovereignty and his decisions over the other's life. This artworks is an interpretation of Pilate, when he decided to give freedom to Barabbas instead Jesus because of the people's choice. he said: "I am innocent of this man’s blood", but in my point of view, he assumed the post of God in the life of Jesus, making he walk carrying the cross that he was going to be crucified. Then the picture Shows Pilate on a dark(ish) way rounded by chains and a dark foggy mood.
